Alyssa’s examination process consists on two separate sessions. In the first session, she will get a detailed history of the problem, perform a postural exam, examine range of motion, test for neurological signs, and test musculature strength. Then she will examine the pelvic floor muscles externally. There is NO internal examination performed with pediatric patients. At the end of the first session, Alyssa will give you a bowel/bladder diary to fill out after giving you detailed instructions. The second session will consist of going over the bowel/bladder diaries and providing education about your child’s condition. At the conclusion, she will provide you with a  recommendation for treatment sessions for your child.
